There are plenty of other games on the download circuit that offer more than Battle: L. When I got bored with shooting the aliens, I turned my fire on the destructible environment, which was amusing enough. The lack of enemy variety is only tolerable because you get through the game quickly. These loogie monsters can take a lot of bullets to the gut without flinching, but a headshot from a sniper rifle still does the trick. Shooting a gun feels solid and using iron sights makes aiming easy. Your arsenal is small - an assault rifle, sniper rifle, grenades, and a rocket launcher - but effective. The voice acting is atrocious, too, but I looked at it as another opportunity to laugh. Considering the bare-bones plot of the movie ZOMG!Īliens are attacking! Stop them!
